Happy Fashion month dear fashionist@s! We’re kicking this month with the one and only Audrey Hepburn. You might remember Hepburn’s famous characters and their iconic outfits: the LBD of Holly Golightly, the blouse circle skirt and ballerinas in Roman Holiday, Sabrina’s Parisian chic looks, the black attire and editorial outfits of Jo Stockton in Funny Face… However, other outfits are worth mentioning for their timelessness and very chic styles.

Today I wanted to focus on one of my very favourite Audrey Hepburn movies: Charade (1963), by Stanley Donen. This movie is right up my alley: there’s mystery, comedy, some romance and of course the duo Audrey Hepburn/Cary Grant!

But what caught my eyes the most is the number of amazing looks sported by Audrey Hepburn, aka Regina Lampert. In the beginning of Charade, we understand that while Regina was on holiday, her husband sold every single item in their house at auction, before being mysteriously-murdered some days later on the train, without the money he made from selling everything. Therefore, Regina is left with her suitcases as sole belongings. But she surely packed her best outfits, because while trying to figure out what happened to her husband as well as escaping his dangerous associates, she serves us a true lesson on winterwear and timeless (mostly colourful) coats.
All designed by Hubert de Givenchy, bien sûr !

Did you know this movie and which Regina Lampert outfit is your favourite? Please, let me know in the comment !
