A button-up shirt is always a good idea!

Lately I have been fuelling my STYLE Pinterest board with outfit inspirations featuring a lot of button-up shirts and it made me realise that I’m starting to have quite the collection myself. I’ve recently added a green one to my collection of very colourful shirts (i.e. orange, blue and purple) which is currently my favourite. The collection is still going to expand because Tuesday (20 minutes before the end of summer sales actually!) I ordered a lilac gingham one that should arrive tomorrow!

This summer, I’ve realised that my style is very simple: a buttoned-up shirt, a t-shirt, a straight leg pants or a pair of Mom jeans, my favourite Adidas sneakers and I’m good to go. My style is not deeply thought of during summer, I don’t really like this season especially fashion-wise because I get unmotivated to try and put together a nicely styled outfit. It’s too hot to think!
But in order to keep it interesting I guess, I’ve decided to invest in more colourful buttoned-up shirt and pants, that way I wear the same ‘uniform’ but with a little twist. I don’t think I could do more than that lol.

In a way, it is also an extension of my style which revolves a lot around blazers, t-shirts and pants or jeans. So the shirts that I’m wearing and collecting for summer will be perfect to take me through seasons because I’ll just have to layer them underneath blazers and coats. Total fashion win win!
