#BloodyMabel is THE inspiration for autumnal outfits!

This week the last episode of OMITB dropped on Disney+ and we finally know who killed Ben! Although I am a spoiler-friendly person (are you too?), I won’t tell you who did it. All I can say is that my suspicions were correct! Finally all those hours watching police and crime TV series paid off (I’d like to thank Sherlock, Veronica Mars, Cold Case, Castle and Murder in Paradise for helping me get my detective specialised in TV series licence lol).

In celebration of this mystery being resolved just as the weather eases into autumn, I thought I’d focus on Mabel Mora’s fashion game. One of the three main characters, Mabel, played by Selena Gomez, is all about sweaters, statement coats and unique cardigans. Basically, her outfits scream autumn and we need all the fashion inspo we can get for this new season, don’t we? So let’s take a look at some of her best fashion moments, created by costume designer Dana Covarrubias.

Hi fashionist@s! Le dernier épisode d’Only Murders in the Building est sorti cette semaine et on sait enfin qui a tué Ben Glenroy ! Est-ce que vous aviez deviné qui était coupable ou est-ce que ça vous a surpris ? Moi, c’est sur les 4-5 derniers épisodes que j’avais commencé à suspecter la personne qui s’est révélée être responsable. Merci à tous ces visionnages de Sherlock, Cold Case, Esprits Criminels et Castle pour mes super talents de détective hors-pair haha. L’épisode étant sorti pile au moment où les températures se rafraîchissent pour l’automne, quoi de mieux que de célébrer la résolution de ce mystère avec style en faisant le tour des tenues iconiques de Mabel Mora, alias Bloody Mabel ? S’il y a bien un personnage dont le style est 100% automnal c’est bien elle : cardigans, manteaux, pulls colorés, il y a de quoi être inspirées pour cette nouvelle saison.

In autumn, a coat is the must to finish up any outfit in style, and Mabel has quite the collection of statement coats. Neutrals, colourful, textured, that’s enough to make even Olivia Pope jealous.

Sweater weather is upon us and Mabel is the great inspiration for both unique and timeless sweaters. The sweater vest is the must-have I never knew I needed, the chunky brown one is next on my wishlist and the checkered sweater deserves a fashion award!

Cardigans aren’t going anywhere this autumn! I mostly go for sweaters and blazers to keep me warm during the colder months, however Mabel’s cardigan collection makes me want to get one. They are a great way to add colours to your outfit and another layer when the weather gets really cold.
