My favourite hair accessories to wear this Winter

& all year round!

I love wearing hair accessories! Ever since High School I believe, when Gossip Girl was slowly becoming one of my all time favourite TV show, I have been playing with hair ties, headscarves and (of course!) headbands. It is such a fun way to play with your hair, spice up your look and experiment with different hairstyles as well.

These days bows are all the rage and if you want to jump on the trend of hair accessories, I think that there are many other ways to play with them, while staying true to your fashion personality. After all, bows are not all there is to hair accessories. Funnily enough I only have one bow clip, that I don’t wear that often.

In High School, as I was experiencing major heat damage (that’s a topic for another day!), headscarves where my favourite things to wear to keep my hair protected and add a fun accessory to my outfit. That was a great way to stay friends with my hair instead of completely antagonizing it when it was in that awkward growing phase.

Since then it has grown, as well as my collection of hair accessories which are now part of my style. 99% of the time, you’ll find me wearing something on my head! My Pinterest is also full of inspiration, so I think that my collection of statement accessories will be growing in the very near future. In the meantime, here are some of my favourite to wear this Winter, and all year round!

Mes accessoires pour cheveux préférés

Les accessoires pour cheveux sont devenus une partie intégrante de mon style. Je pense que depuis Gossip Girl, m’a collection s’est étendue à tel point que 99% du temps vous me trouverez avec un bandeau, un serre-tête, une barette ou une pince à cheveux ! Au lycée, quand je me remettais des dégâts capillaires causés par trop de fer à lisser (une histoire pour un autre jour !), les foulards étaient mes accessoires préférés pour les protéger pendant qu’ils poussaient.

Ces temps-ci on voit beaucoup de nœuds comme accessoires pour cheveux, mais il y a aussi plein d’autres accessoires à tester, si ça vous dit d’essayer d’apporter un peu plus de fun à vos coiffures. Pour ce qui est des nœuds, personnellement je n’en ai qu’un seul dans ma collection mais voici quelques-uns de mes préférés !
